HANDS: ART CRAFT ALIVE is an art auction to benefit WORKSHOP GALLERY ARTISTS FOUNDATION, INC., a Brooklyn based non-profit foundation and BOBEA ART CENTRE, a Nairobi based Art Centre which provides a conducive environment for local children and youth to explore, develop and showcase their artistic talent. Both organizations are neighborhood spaces focused on public and family engagement, community development of art appreciation, and direct engaging with art-making particularly with children.

HANDS: ART CRAFT ALIVE will feature 50-75 contemporary artists with visual art and small works curated by Atim Annette Oton and Martine Bisagni that will be auctioned off with proceeds going to both organizations. This event will bring together creative minds, business leaders and art enthusiasts who share WORKSHOP GALLERY ARTISTS FOUNDATION, INC’s and BOBEA ART CENTRE’s vision of communal art experience.

This Online Art Auction and Live Auction called the HANDS: ART CRAFT ALIVE will be held in New York City on December 18 2016 at Calabar Gallery in Harlem.
