Roscoe Reid Masters is a visual artist from Cape Town in South Africa who has graduated from Ruth Prowse School of Art in 2009. He was part a crew called 3:16; they did outreach projects in challenged communities and have done some successful group murals in Hanover Park and Bridgetown.
He managed an Art Shop at Ruth Prowse School for 2 years. In 2013, he did his Post Graduate Certificate Education at UCT, had a Solo Exhibition at True Italic Art Café, and did a collaborative Mural 2m x 8m at Langa Stadium. In 2014, he did a painting & spray painting workshop with established fine artist Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi and contemporary artist Khaya Witbooi and had a group exhibition with the art produced at Greatmore studios.
He had his two learners from Sea Point High School won the main prizes in a Nation Wide competition with Pharrell Williams and Woolworths to create a T-shirt to promote sustainability in Modern Society. He is currently teaching full time Visual Art/Design at Sea Point High School and creating art from his home in Diep River.
