Khadim Gueye (KH BAMBA) is a visual artist born in 1991 in Diourbel, Senegal who lives and works in Dakar. In 2017, he obtained his National Diploma of Fine Arts (DNBA) with a distinction in the visual communication and graphic design. As a committed visual artist, he is a member of the International Artistic Association Young Artists of the future (JAA).
Gueye paints, does thread weaving, textile collage and uses different materials to address humanity and cultural mixing, a concept he calls “Mix-Tissage”. He has participated in major artistic events including the Dak’Art Biennial, the Ségou’Art Festival, the International Shrub Art Fair, for which he received the special prize in 2017, and the National Arts Fair. His work is exhibited in Senegal, Burkina Faso, France, Mali, Benin, and Spain.
