Baka Ismaël Thierry Kouadio (Thierry BAKA) was born on December 21, 1992 in N’douci / Ivory Coast, from a family that could be described as sculptors. Especially since his father was originally a sculptor before he chose the musical field. Nephew of the Ivorian sculptor YAK, Thierry BAKA trained at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Plastiques de l’Architecture et du Design (ESAPAD), formerly the National School of Fine Arts (ENBA) located at INSAAC / Abidjan (Ivory Coast), where he chose the medium of painting as a field of experimentation for his artistic practice. His work combines the art of portraiture and ensemble paintings. In his paintings, Thierry BAKA addresses everyday life, especially the world of young people, by giving life to the experiences, emotions and challenges that they (young people) face today.
