Ronnie Ogwang was born in 984 in Kampala, Uganda. He went to Makerere University where he graduated in Industrial Arts and Design. Although he majored in painting, graphic design and photography, he has been known for his paintings. His works and mainly in acrylic paint, he paints in very opulent colors and with a lot of texture.  Raised by a single mother his works are inspired by the African woman and nature at large, he also loves to paint subjects like elephants, giraffes, fish, birds and plants. Ogwang believes that the female figure plays the most important role in shaping our society. Ogwang has participated in solo and group exhibitions all over the world since 2007 when he graduated. He has shown all over Eastern Africa, Germany and Australia.
