Abdulsalam Abiola was born in 1996 in Lagos state. He graduated from the Tai Solarin University in Ogun State, Nigeria, with a Bachelor’s in Fine and Applied Arts, focusing on Painting. He has been active since 2017, participating in numerous collective shows since, and winning an award from his alma mater in 2018. His paintings are expression of figures using geometric shapes to carry out reality of activities in our day to day lives within our environment, and also representing their faces in an abstract form. He plays around vibrant colors and brings out the originality of objects that are easily visualize around us.
