Nigerian artist Oladele Olaope is known for his pen and ink drawings that are enhanced by cutting out pieces of the print and adding colorful local fabrics to the back of the print. He was born in Ibadan in 1960 and studied architecture. He moved to Lagos and became an artist exploring fabric and mosaic work.
